Fjellrittet offers multi-day horse treks through spectacular nature around Valdres and Jotunheimen. The tours are arranged so that we ride from place to place and sleep overnight at lodges, cabins, hotels or camping in lavvos. All luggage is shipped with a courier and we have saddle bags for what we need for the day

In Beitostølen you will find many activities happening in both summer and winter for all ages. During winter time Beitostølen offers some of the best cross country skiing in Norway, as well as an alpine center with ski lifts. A few kilometers from Beitostølen lies the alpine resort of Raudalen, which offers steeper slopes and great off-piste skiing. In addition, there are long ski runs in the area around Beitostølen. We are situated very close to Jotunheimen National Park which offers great ski touring possibilities. Enjoy an evening of apres ski at Hytte Mat & Vinhus; located in our campsite, which offers Norwegian food in a traditional setting.

In summer, you also have many possibilities. Beitostølen is a great base for those wanting to explore Jotunheimen National park, whether you plan to do a mulit-day hike, walk the famous Besseggen trail, or simply take a return boat trip along lake Gjende, there is something for everyone.

With so many fishing lakes and rivers to choose from, Beitostølen is an eldorado for fishing enthusiasts. You can also buy a fishing license at the campsite reception.
